Through the promotion of energy-related policies, Taiwan actively invests in the development of green energy to reach the goal of 20% of total energy generation coming from green energy before 2025.

This year, TAITRA is spearheading the efforts of the Green Trade Project Office (GTPO). The GTPO has multiple objectives - from enhancing Taiwan's green industry and improving the green products available for export, to broadcasting Taiwan’s green industry technological know-how and its achievements to the world.

Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Center for Renewable Energy will introduce current market opportunities of renewable energy in Vietnam. GTPO’s Manager Karen Ma will give a briefing of global and Taiwan’s trends in green energy development. Speakers from key Taiwanese Green Energy Industries such as Eterbright, Asia Pacific Fuel Cell  Technologies, will also be speaking in this event.

Vietnam and Taiwan are currently working on green energy development.  Taiwan highly values the relationship with Vietnam, and wishes to share its experiences and achievements with Vietnam. Hopefully through this seminar, exchanges between the two countries will be strengthened, and deepen future cooperation.
