Under its Phycomp product brand name, Yageo is offering the X2Y_ series IPD (integrated passive device), a breakthrough in the design of ceramic multilayer products.

X2Y_ is used for bypass/decoupling to maintain Power Integrity, or as an EMI filter to meet EMC Compliance. In either use, a single X2Y_ replaces multiple components, improves circuit performance and dramatically lowers assembly costs.

X2Y_ is an important tool for today’s circuit designer, offering the following benefits,

• Two matched Y-caps in a single device that provides balance to the circuit and unmatched noise reduction.
• A distinctive low ESL design for IC bypass that reduces; component count & placement costs, drilled vias & blocked routes, printed circuit board area & total assembly costs.
