ITRI has been dedicated to addressing the industry’s needs and presenting innovative solutions that are both cost-effective and eco-friendly, helping the industry stay competitive and sustainable. Its efforts, once again, were recognized by the R&D 100 Awards, with eleven finalist nominations involving green technologies, smart living solutions, and advanced manufacturing. The winners will be announced on November 17 in Orlando, FL.

 

The eleven finalists selected include (1) a building energy diagnosis platform BESTAI, (2) lithium battery technology ChemSEI-Linker, (3) the LCD Waste Recycling System, (4) CoolSo for AR/VR gesture recognition, (5) Cytotwister for cell culture, (6) the handheld pesticide detector HS3D, (7) epitaxial optimization software CyberEpi, (8) PHM fault prognosis in semiconductors, (9) the power and thermal analyzer PT-ESL, (10) RoftSIM to improve induction motors, and (11) CINmat (Microwave Annealing Technology) developed with Naitonal Chiao Tung University and the National Nano Device Laboratories.
