Intersolar Europe 2018 took place in Munich, Germany from June 20th to 22nd, 2018.  It is the World’s leading trade fair for the solar industry, and it was the 27th time the trade fair has been organized. Sponsored by Taiwan’s Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) led 10 Taiwanese solar module and solar equipment companies to exhibit their products and showcase Taiwan’s high-quality green products.

TAITRA set up a Taiwan Pavilion at the venue, and exhibitors included EEPV Corp., Eterbright Solar Corporation, Kootatu Tech Corp., Solartech Energy Corp., Tainergy Tech Co., Ltd., General Components Industry Corp., Leatec Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd., Solarjoin Technology Inc., Voltronic Power Technology Corp., & SEGL Energy Co., Ltd.

Intersolar, being the World’s leading solar trade fair, is also the most important exhibition platform for companies that want to enter the solar market in Europe and Africa. According to statistics provided by the organizers, the three-day exhibition attracted more than 65,000 visitors! There were also 1,200 exhibitors from 50 countries this year.

Voltronic Power offers a complete line of UPS’, inverters, and solar power products. They exhibited their Axpert King Off Grid Inverter, featuring zero transfer time, ideal for critical devices such as servers and ATM. Other awesome features include a detachable LCD control module which allows the user to remotely monitor the inverter, reserved communication port for the battery management system, supports USB On-the-Go function and optional parallel operation up to 9 units.

The ten Taiwanese companies had diversified solar equipment products including solar cells and modules, CIGS thin film PV modules, solar floating modules, transformers, chip alumina fine ceramic substrates, PV junction boxes, connectors, PV Ribbon, soldering materials, inverters, UPS, lithium ion batteries.

Many of the Taiwanese companies expressed that they were happy to exhibit at Intersolar 2018 and would join again. TAITRA together with the Taiwanese companies feel optimistic about developing business in the European market.

Considering the positive feedback from Taiwanese companies and the need to learn quickly and exchange views due to every countries’ different energy policies and market, TAITRA plans to continue to organize exhibitions next year.
