To promote the image of Taiwan green industry in the southbound countries, Green Trade Project Office (GTPO) will be hosting media reporters from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and India to the “Taiwan Green Industry International Media Day” on July 18 at 4FVIP Room in Taipei International Convention Center. A Green Products Display from 9 different companies will be present onsite to showcase the latest developments in Taiwan’s green industry.
These 9 companies include Neo Solar Power, Eterbright, Biomax Technology, Asia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies, Everlight Electronics, Chang Hong Energy Technology, Spring Pool Glass, Multiply Energy, and UWin Nanotech. All products focus on five major green categories, namely renewable energy and storage, energy savings, environmental protection equipment, recycling and low carbon transportation, such as PV cell, LED, wood based biomass, energy storage battery, Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles and green building material made from recycled glass.
To provide more business opportunities, GTPO has also arranged Green Industry Company Visits to leading Taiwanese companies from the afternoon of July 18 and continue until July 20. There are six company visits scheduled, including Motech, a leader in solar products and services with high solar PV export internationally, Chung Hsin Corp., primarily engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of electric power equipment, including micro-grid, and international giant Delta which offers a wide variety of solutions and products, among them renewable energy technology, power electronics, energy infrastructure, etc. GTPO’s goal for these company visits is to show the international media and visitors that Taiwan has the technological know-how and is able to provide total solution to environmental needs.
Over the years, Taiwan has made big strides in the development and use of green technology. It is at the forefront of many technological advancements in green industries and a leader in exports of PV cells, LEDs and bicycles. Taiwan highly values the relationship with South Asian and Southeast Asian countries and wishes to share its experiences and achievements, showcase its innovative green products to target markets and buyers, and to further enhance the global awareness of Taiwan's green products.
