The TDCM Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor responds to the tension placed on the pedelec’s chain by the rider’s pedaling effort and incorporates force, rotation and crank arm position sensors for the ultimate in torque sensor accuracy. The TDCM Torque sensor reacts to rider pedaling effort from both the left and right sides of the pedelec, resulting in a very responsive and linear reaction from the propulsion system. The TDCM Torque Sensor is easily calibrated at the factory, and re-calibrates itself every time the system is energized thereafter. It is a very robust device, designed to offer reliable trouble-free service.
