As international concern for environmental protection mechanisms begin to rise, the public have begun to pay more attention to energy saving and environmentally friendly products. Green building products made with low emission materials and recyclable features are a growingly attractive business sector. In order to provide more information on Taiwan’s green building products to international buyers, the Bureau of Foreign Trade published the Taiwan Green Building Materials Catalog. The catalog presents the “Green Building Material Label” standard established on the concept of “Healthy Living and Sustainable Earth”, and introduces Taiwan's green building material related enterprises and their products to promote the green building material industry of Taiwan.
